Proposal 2026.2 - No limit to IR

Status: In Discussion

Remove the limit of only 1 IR player. If a player is hurt and on the NFL IR then we should be allowed to put them on the IR. Whether it is the first player on our team or the tenth.

In 2006 we passed a rule giving players 3 points for every blocked kick. It was added to the scoring rules, but never added to the actual rule book. Richard found this during a game last season. It has been happening less than 1 game a year.

Should we formally add the blocked kicks or adjust the scoring to match the rule book

Add rules V.B.3.e, V.B.4.e and V.B.7.f all reading:

Blocked Kick
     i. Each one = 3 pts

Proposal 2026.6 - Change how auto-draft works

Sponsor: Josh Utterback

Status: In Discussion

The auto-draft rules were put in place at a time when we wanted to punish teams that didn't make the draft. I believe we have moved past that, and last year's incident with Derek shows how that is not a good policy. So I propose that we revise the auto-draft to at least give teams that need it a chance.
When a team is drafting using auto-draft the computer will randomly pick what position, based on the current round and the frequency of each position being drafted in that round over the previous three seasons. It would make sure not to draft more players at a position than the average full roster composition over the previous season. Both of these weights and values would be published at least a week before the draft.
Once a position is selected it would pick the top player remaining from a known list from the internet. The exact list would be announced at least two days prior to the draft. The exception being OL, which would be based on the previous seasons points.

Change the text of rule VI.E.3 to read:
3. The owner missing the draft may specify a method for determining their draft picks
     a. Failure to specify a picking method will result in the league auto-drafting the team's players based on the following rules:
          i. At least a week prior to the draft the commissioner will publish a list of the frequency each position was drafted in each round over the previous three seasons
ii. The computer will randomly select the position to be drafted based on the round and the weights from the previous rule
iii. Once the position is known, the top remaining player at that position from a publicly available list will be selected.
iv. For OL the list will be ordered by the previous season's points
     b. When the league auto-drafts for a team, it will not select more players at any given position than were on the average team's full roster composition the previous season.
          i. The list of the average team's full roster composition will be published at least one week before the draft
